Abstract:When talking about “The Belt and Road” strategy, if we only pay attention to China’s westward force pointing to Europe, the cooperation in Northeast Asia (or East Asia) seems to be forgotten. Will the implementation of “The Belt and Road” initiative cause the kinetic energy for Northeast Asia’s regional cooperation everlasting since 1990s to drop? As part of national strategy, the implementation of “Longjiang Land and Maritime Silk Road Economic Belt” will dispel this worry. By promoting “The Belt and Road”, the significance of railway transport will be re-recognized and environment-friendly land-maritime multimodal transport will be promoted. The consequence will be that: regional cooperation in Northeast Asia will be strengthened and reciprocal relations will be further deepened.
